December Shootover Day
Absolutely fantastic shootover day held at Hawkhurst by kind permission of Gamekeeper Fran Briley.
Very cold to start to the day and the game were running FAST and keeping ahead of the dogs in the fields but as the day progressed they started to be found and downed by the guns.
Lots to learn, lots of crop and woods worked by the dogs who handled a lovely bunch of people.
Dog of the day was Boris who expertly handled Jim Ayling into position all day !

October Club Day
Partridge Day
Wednesday 25th September saw our first ever partridge shoot over day in Hawkshurst in Kent - courtesy of Mr Fran Briley. Overnight torrential rain and a howling gale gave way to an improving morning and a really rather pleasant afternoon. Great ground, hunty pointy people and fantastic dog work. All images courtesy of Alan Woodward of Alfee Images. Dog of the day was awarded to Jess Russ and Otto. New dates will be announced at October club day.
September Club Day
Congratulations to Patrick Head & Finn for winning Novice at The Weimaraner Association WT

Club Day Sunday 3rd February
Well that went better than we ever expected !!
Our first club day saw -5 Centigrade with a light dusting of snow but we still managed split retrieves, seens, blinds and a dummy launcher to test steadiness. The "Try a shotgun" area for anyone who hasn`t handled one before proved very popular.
Happy Members - Happy Committee !!
