Located in the very heart of the Hampshire Test Valley, we are a group of HPR "enthusiasts" who meet on the first Sunday of each month.
Handlers and KC registered hounds** of any standard are very welcome. |
During the summer we practice for working tests, have a summer BBQ and a water training day. During the shooting season we practice for field trials and hold at least three shoot-over days for our members and also the now legendary Christmas club day and meal !
We are NOT professional dog trainers, we are a club - If you have a dog with issues i.e. aggression or anxiety we are not for you !

Unseen by many, the committee are on site at least an hour before everyone in the morning to set up and then remain a long while after everyone leaves in order to clear up.
We have long discussed having a club house where we can store kit, sell kit, have a cafe area with seats and a coffee machine, in which we could just turn up, unlock - and rock.
We feel the time is now right to progress our vision.
In order to finance the purchase of a shipping container based club house, for the FIRST TIME in 35 years we have decided to increase the monthly club day fees to:
£10 per single dog and £5 for each dog there after. i.e. 1 dog £10 2 dogs £15
We believe we are the only club in the south who guarantee training opportunities each month on quite frankly an exemplary training ground.
We are looking to have the new club "container club house" in place by next spring.

Nature of business to be conducted - To receive the report of the Committee and balance sheet, to elect officers and committee and to discuss any resolution duly placed on the agenda of which prior notice has been given to the Hon. Secretary. No business shall be transacted at an Annual General Meeting unless notice thereof appears on the agenda, with the exception of routine matters or those which in the opinion of Chairman of the meeting are urgent.
